Terms and conditions

ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ (“Cranfield”) is offering Cranfield alumni a reward for referring students to the Full-time MBA programme (also known as The Transformation MBA) at Cranfield (“Referral Scheme”). If the referral is successful and a referred MBA candidate starts the Transformation MBA programme at Cranfield, the alumni (“Referrer”) would be eligible to receive a bronze and silver award on Cranfield Online. The successfully referred candidate (“Referee”) would be awarded with the Friends and Family Scholarship covering 25% of the tuition fee and would receive an invitation to an exclusive event during the time of their course (“Friends and Family Scholarship”).

To be eligible to receive the bronze and silver package on Cranfield Online:

  • You must be a ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ alumni or current student to receive the referral reward.
  • You must make a referral by emailing the Referee’s details to mbaenquiries@cranfield.ac.uk.
  • Your Referee must become a full-time MBA student at Cranfield within 24 months of your referral to claim the reward.
  • Only one reward is available per Referee. If a Referee is sent by multiple Referrers, whichever Referrer submitted the referral first will be deemed as the Referrer.
  • Referrals will be deemed as ineligible if the Referee is already in communication with Cranfield, or an existing Cranfield customer.
  • If a Referee has come via an Alumni and an agent, both commission payment to the agent and the reward to the Referrer will be honoured.
  • The reward will be provided, irrespective of any scholarship agreement reached with the Referee.

Redeeming the reward:

  • You'll receive email confirmation of the reward and its expiry date, with next steps to redeem.
  • You will be rewarded with your Cranfield Online bronze and silver package within one month of your referred candidate becoming a full-time student.
  • The reward will expire within 18 months from the date of receipt.
  • The reward is only available to spend on a bronze and silver award on Cranfield Online and is not available as a cash alternative or eligible to apply to other courses at Cranfield.
  • No cash change will be rewarded to a part-spent reward.
  • There is no limit to how many referrals you can make or how many individual rewards you can receive.
  • The more people you successfully refer the more rewards you can claim on Cranfield Online.
  • You can continue with your online learning journey with the Cranfield Online Programmes, should you choose, after your reward has been used.

Gifting your reward:

  • As the successful Referrer, you may choose to redeem the reward yourself on the Cranfield Online Programmes, or gift this to one person of your choosing. If you choose to gift your reward you need to email m.creasey@cranfield.ac.uk with the name and email of your chosen recipient for them to receive the credit.
  • The reward cannot be split across multiple people; only one recipient per reward.
  • You can gift multiple rewards to the same person if you choose to.
  • Once the reward has been transferred you would be foregoing any claim or rights to the reward.

To be eligible for the Friends and Family Scholarship the Referee needs:

  • To be referred by ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ alumni, accepted to the Full-time MBA programme and matriculated within 24 months of the referral.
  • The Referee will receive an email confirmation of their scholarship award and details on the next steps. The Referee needs to follow the deadlines communicated to them by ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ to receive the scholarships. Missing important application and/or scholarship deadlines may cause the scholarship offer to be withdrawn.
  • The Referee is eligible to apply to another scholarship programme in addition to / or instead of the Friends and Family Scholarship.
  • The Referee is eligible to receive the Friends and Family scholarship, even if they have used the services of an agent.
  • The eligibility to receive the Friends and Family Scholarship will expire within 24 months from the date of referral.
  • The scholarship is a 25% course fee reduction that will be added to the Referee’s offer. The Referee will receive an email highlighting the amount discounted.
  • The scholarship cannot be transferred to another individual or course. The discount is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
  • For the avoidance of doubt, the Friend and Family Scholarship is available for prospective students successfully referred by one of Cranfield’s alumni. You cannot be considered for the award if you are already in communication with Cranfield, a currently registered student or existing Cranfield customer, and it cannot be retroactively applied to studies in previous academic years.
  • If a Referee is sent by multiple Referrers, whichever Referrer submitted the referral first will be deemed as the Referrer.
  • The Referee is eligible for only one 25% Friends and Family Scholarship, no matter how many Referrers submitted the referral on their behalf.
  • The Referee is not eligible for the scholarship if they withdraw their application.
  • The Referee is not eligible for the scholarship if they don't accept their offer or scholarships on time.
  • The scholarship recipient may from time to time be called upon to assist the SoM commercial team with promotional activities associated with other scholars.
