The AMBA Accreditation Board commended Cranfield on its close engagement with business. The assessment praised Cranfield’s corporate partnerships with Grant Thornton, MetroBank and HSBC for master’s level delivery, and the School of Management’s significant contribution under the Apprenticeship Scheme. Small Business Charter
The is an award for the UK’s world-class business schools. The SBC award celebrates business schools that play an effective role in supporting small businesses, local economies and student entrepreneurship.
Cranfield School of Management have been awarded the accreditation for the maximum five years which is seldom heard of – most Schools receive three years in the first instance.

United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education (UNPRME)
The Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) is a United Nations-supported initiative founded in 2007. As a platform to raise the profile of sustainability in schools around the world, PRME equips today's business students with the understanding and ability to deliver change tomorrow.
Working through Six Principles, PRME engages business and management schools to ensure they provide future leaders with the skills needed to balance economic and sustainability goals, while drawing attention to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and aligning academic institutions with the work of the UN Global Compact.
Cranfield School of Management has been a signatory to UNPRME for over a decade. We contribute to the PRME Principles through interdisciplinary teaching for sustainable business, we align our research to UN Sustainable Development Goals through collaboration, we promote behavioural change in organisations, particularly in the not-for-profit sector and we partner globally with practitioners, scholars and students. .

CFA Institute
Our Finance MSc course content covers much of the syllabus of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification, giving students the opportunity to work towards an additional professional qualification while they are studying with us through the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program.
Students will also receive revision support from our faculty ahead of sitting the first examination in term three of your course. They can then sit parts two and three of the qualification after completing the course.
Chartered Banker Institute
Our Banking, Economics and Finance MSc, Retail and Digital Banking MSc and Senior Investment and Commercial Banking Professional Apprenticeship are accredited by the , the largest professional body for bankers in the UK, with successful completion of this MSc leading to the additional award of the Chartered Banker Diploma Professional qualification and Chartered Banker status.
Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS)
Our Logistics and Supply Chain Management MSc, Procurement and Supply Chain Management MSc and Executive Logistics and Supply Chain Management MSc (including online route) are accredited by The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and The Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply.
Upon completion of the course, students are eligible for full membership of both institutes, once they have completed three years of relevant work experience.
Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
Students who complete our Accounting and Finance MSc course can join CIMA via the Master’s gateway route. They can also register with CIMA to take an online case study exam in order to obtain the CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting (CIMA Adv Dip MA).
Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM)
Our Strategic Marketing MSc is a Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) accredited degree, enabling students to achieve CIM’s professional marketing qualifications and awards alongside their Cranfield degree. CIM is the leading professional body for marketers worldwide and exists to develop the marketing profession, maintain professional standards and improve the skills of marketing professionals.
Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)
Our Management and Human Resource Management MSc is a Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) accreditation degree. CIPD membership is highly recognised in the field of HRM and offers students a distinct advantage when pursuing a career in this sector.
Chartered Management Institute (CMI)
Our Full-time MBA and portfolio of Management courses: Management MSc, Management and Corporate Sustainability MSc, Management and Entrepreneurship MSc, Management and Human Resource Management MSc, and Management and Leadership MSc are Chartered Management Institute (CMI) dual accreditation degrees. This gives students the opportunity to stand out from other graduates by achieving the CMI’s professional management qualification alongside their Cranfield degree.
The CMI is the only chartered professional body in the UK dedicated to promoting the highest standards in management and leadership excellence. It is the only organisation awarding Chartered Manager status, and has a 100,000+ membership.
Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA)
Accredited by IEMA, successful completion of our Sustainability MSc or Sustainability Business Specialist Apprenticeship leads to the additional award of Registered Environmental Practitioner (REnvP) status (Practitioner Member of IEMA) or Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) status (Full Member of IEMA) depending on a student's level of experience prior to the course.
Market Research Society (MRS)
The Strategic Marketing MSc is currently the only Master's degree in the UK that is accredited by the MRS for its Certificate in Market Research). This means that while studying for your Master's in marketing, you also have the opportunity to work towards achieving the MRS Certificate in Market Research. This qualification and with appropriate work experience – gained either before or after being awarded the MRS Certificate – means you will be eligible to join the Market Research Society.
