Swimming pool

The UK Defence Academy’s heated outdoor swimming pool is open from May until September. The fully supervised pool is available for use by staff, students and their families and also offers swimming lessons for adults and children.

The Defence Academy Golf Club

Community Centre

Located near the Defence Academy, the Community Centre provides facilities for Service personnel and their families, from both the United Kingdom and overseas, together with all other Station personnel. The centre includes a soft play area for younger children to enjoy while parents enjoy a coffee shop for refreshments. The idea behind the centre is to give families (and of course staff and students) a place to meet old and new friends of differing nationalities in a friendly and personal environment.
