, the leading trade association for the UK’s aerospace, defence, security, and space industries, has announced the election of Dr David Crouch, Senior Lecturer in CBRN as the new Security and Resilience Sector Representative on the ADS Council.

Bringing over 30 years of expertise in CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) safety, resilience, and education, David is a globally recognised leader in security and preparedness. As Chairman of CBRN-UK (2016–2019), he played a pivotal role in shaping UK industry strategy, working closely with the UK Government, and international partners to develop innovative policies, including the 2021 UK Defence and Security Industrial Strategy.

Currently, David leads ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥’s work on Nuclear Security and serves as Programme Manager for the Ministry of Defence’s Counter-CBRN Professional Education Programme, where he continues to influence policy, training, and global security collaboration. His expertise in hazardous environments, standards development, and strategic defence initiatives will be instrumental in strengthening the ADS Council’s approach to emerging security challenges.

ADS Director of Security and Resilience, Jon Gray, welcomed the appointment, stating:
