ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥’s Dr Irene Carra has been appointed to the UK committee of the .
Dr Carra, Lecturer in Chemical Processes within the Cranfield Water Science Institute, joined Cranfield in 2014 and focuses her research on advanced treatment for the removal of pollutants from water sources.
Speaking of her appointment, Dr Carra said: “I am thrilled to be part of the UK IWA Committee. This is an exciting opportunity and I look forward to contributing to the Committee’s strategy and long-term plans in the UK.”
The IWA is a global network of water professionals aiding the creation of innovative, pragmatic and sustainable solutions to challenging global water needs. The IWA UK Committee is a sub-committee supporting the delivery of the IWA’s critical objectives and strategic goals.
