Background
Bernadin has received his MSc degree in computer science in 2013 from Polytechnique University (France). Before joining ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ in 2017, he worked as software engineer in Paris, focusing on architectural design for big data, big time series data analysis, and software lifecycle implementation and maintenance.
He completed his PhD funded by EPSRC and Unipart-rail/Instrumentel, at ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ in the field of condition monitoring applied to railway assets, and was awarded the EPSRC doctoral fellowship Prize.
Current activities
Bernadin's main research areas have been the development of novel architectures and algorithms for digital twin development. He is currently working on his Research fellow Prize at the Centre of Digital Engineering and Manufacturing in ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥. His work involves the design, implementation, and testing of novel methods and tools for digital twin ecosystem development.
