This short course aims to provide delegates with an overview of current robotics and automation technologies and the underlying fundamentals. The course aims to provide a general knowledge of the subject which can be applied to real life applications and form a basis for more advanced study. It is aimed at mangers and experienced engineers who need to understand the potential of robotics and automation techniques within manufacturing environments.
This will equip delegates with the fundamentals of what an industrial robot is, what its real capabilities are and how it is constructed and operates. Specific learning points are developed around types of robot structure and their potential applications - How can we begin to specify and chose a robot for a specific application.
Delegates will be provided with an Introduction to Robot Studio and other graphical languages involving concepts such as different types of movement robot and waypoints. This will provide delegates with a good overview of the core areas of robot operation
